How to train your humans

23 Jun

This made me laugh hard, and out loud! Very funny! While you’re there, visit Seeker’s blog! – tk

Life Is Like That

How many times I told myself that animals are far more intelligent than humans?  If only I can communicate with them, there is much they can teach me.  Watch this.

Need I say more?

Thanks so much for this! We just lost the third of our four cats (all in the past 16 months), so I am grateful for the smile this brought!

I just HAD to re-blog it when I saw it! A good laugh, indeed. And if you have time, I suggest going to the YouTube page with more videos from the same guy. The cats are just so cute, and as he wrote, more how-to’s! Funny! 🙂

Tee hee…. I bought a leash for Maurice long time ago. He doesn’t to go for a walk. But with Lucy, the minute I show a rope or string, she will bit it and won’t let go and takes me out for a walk… inside the apartment. It’s actually quite hilarious. 😆

I can imagine! The things we do to keep them entertained … But most of the time, who’s entertaining who, is beyond me. I love to get Rufus to play with me. Our favourate game is I’ll throw him one of his twenty stuffed mice, and while it’s still in the air, he’ll bat it back at me!
      They’re great, aren’t they? 🙂

I get tired playing sometimes. Old age but they are the best companion. Question: How come Rufus gets a haircut?

When it gets hot here, and his hair is long, he has this position that lets me know he’s sufferering: he sits like a human, in the same spot on the lower floor, and leans against the wall. As soon as his hair is cut, he becomes himself again! Why? Did I post a picture of his lion cut? He’s really cute! 🙂

Opsey, I saw it in FB. Is it okay for cats to have haircut?

Oh yeah! For instance, I comb Rufus every night, and I get about two fistful of fur. After a cut, and for a few months, I only get about a tenth of that. So it doesn’t get knots, or to feel lighter during hot days. It’s great for them … I actually see Rufus playing more when his hair is cut.
Of course, there’s also the fact that I have asthma and I’m allergic to cats – a cut helps a lot. Whenever I go in the emergency for asthma, I always get asked about cats. I’ve learned to say, “Oh no, of course I don’t live around cats!” Heehee. I cannot live without them! The most I’ve had is three at once!
But yeah, haircuts are good for them … Sorry, that was a bit of a ramble … 🙂

Okay, hmmm. This is giving me an idea. I hate those dandruff from Maurice. He has long hair. Lucy is not so bad. Me too, thank goodness for my neighbour who kept on saying that I need a companion. I always blame her because I ended up with two cats due to her constant “rescue” mission.

Heehee … I’m sure they play together while you are at work! Great company for each other?! -)
